Three small sovereigntist parties, Debout la France by Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, the Patriotes by Florian Philippot, and Génération Frexit, will present around 400 candidates in the legislative elections, according to these formations.

“In total, the alliance Les Patriotes, DLF and GF, called Union pour la France, will support around 400 candidates, allowing the vast majority of French people to be able to vote for sovereignist candidates in the next legislative elections,” the movement wrote. of the Patriots in a press release published on Monday.

The three teams had reached an agreement in April to present 500.

The Patriots will present 209 candidates, DLF 185 “to date” according to a spokesperson, and Generation Frexit 10.

The candidacies attached to this alliance are “officially labeled DSV (Right sovereigntist) by the Ministry of the Interior”, specify the Patriots.

The president of Debout la France Nicolas Dupont-Aignan is himself a candidate in the 8th constituency of Essonne, where he has been elected since 1997, and the president of the Patriotes, Florian Philippot in the 6th constituency of Moselle.

Les Patriotes and Génération Frexit, created by dissidents from the UPR of François Asselineau, had supported the presidential candidacy of Mr. Dupont-Aignan, who gathered 2.06% of the vote.

Candidatures for the legislative elections have been closed since Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the 577 constituencies in France.
