Do you know Anne Kerdi? She’s 25, an influencer from Brittany and… doesn’t exist! On Instagram, this artificial intelligence (AI) accumulates more than 3,500 subscribers for some 170 photos posted. Its creator, a certain Sébastien K., imagined it to “promote Brittany in all its forms”, he says to Ouest-France.

The one who is nicknamed “the ambassador of Brittany” by some of her followers, finds herself one day at Cap Sizun, in Finistère, another at the Bodic lighthouse, in the Côtes-d’Armor, or in the forest of Brocéliande, in Morbihan. She also reviews Breton gastronomy: the unmissable kouign-amann, the lesser-known Molène sausage or the famous Plougastel strawberry. By never separating, never too long, from the Gwenn ha Du, the Breton flag.

Its creator explains that he did not want to create an influencer or a model, but more a character, “like in literature or cinema”. But the idea quickly gained momentum and Anne Kerdi was contacted by brands for partnerships, in Brittany or elsewhere. “It’s about highlighting Brittany, so one or two communications with the Region, for example, why not,” continues Sébastien K.

While most of the photos posted on his account are real, 10% of them are AI-generated. A recipe that works and that surprised Sébastien K. So, as a good influencer, Anne Kerdi takes the time to respond to people commenting on her photos. “She puts the form while creating an interaction”, concludes the designer.
