Half a century after the first issue of Top à…, the spirit of the Carpentiers will be making a comeback on French television. According to information from Le Parisien, Friday, May 20, comedian Pierre Palmade is currently working on an entertainment program for France 2, directly inspired by the great shows of Maritie and Gilbert Carpentier.

In the great tradition of the famous shows of the 1970s and 1980s, artists will be brought together to orchestrate the show together, which will be directed by Pierre Palmade. The daily specifies that a filming will take place in the coming weeks and that very varied profiles will be brought together. Thus, the actors Isabelle Nanty, Carole Bouquet and Muriel Robin should take part in the show, just like André Dussollier.

As always, musicians will also be invited, including Nolwenn Leroy and Christophe Willem. All will have the heavy task of succeeding and paying tribute to Georges Brassens, Michel Berger, Claude François, Serge Gainsbourg, Sylvie Vartan, Johnny Hallyday and the others. Another surprise, this revival should welcome a certain number of artists accustomed to the Carpentier shows at the time. Le Parisien notably announces the presence of Nana Mouskouri, Véronique Sanson and Eddy Mitchell.
