Marlène Schiappa, towards a television reconversion? According to Le Figaro, the now ex-Minister Delegate for Citizenship, who is not running in the next legislative elections, would like to have her own show on C8. She even has several program concepts already in mind, including one dedicated to women’s issues that would take the form of a testimonial program. A well-informed source interviewed by our colleagues relativizes by saying that “nothing is signed yet”.

To see her project succeed, Marlène Schiappa would have made several proposals to the star host of the channel, Cyril Hanouna. The two know each other well. The former minister had notably co-hosted with Cyril Hanouna a Balance ton post special program “great national debate” at the time of the Yellow Vests crisis. A person close to the file even assures Le Figaro that Marlène Schiappa “probably counts on Cyril Hanouna to advise her and introduce her to the leaders of C8”.

On Twitter, Marlène Schiappa denied wanting to embark on a career in television. “Contrary to what the press writes without even having taken the trouble to consult me, on the basis of fantasies, I have no TV program planned on C8”, affirms the former Secretary of State in charge of Equality between women and men. “I am still a minister and on my mission until the last minute,” she adds. Several politicians have been tempted by the lights of the small screen, in particular the former spokesperson for Jean-Luc Mélenchon Raquel Garrido who intervened in Salut les Terriens by Thierry Ardisson.

Contrary to what the press writes without even having taken care to consult me, on the basis of fantasies, I have no TV program planned on C8! I am still a minister and on my mission until the last minute.
