If you are a subscriber to Canal and a fan of TF1, you now have to find a roundabout way to watch your front page programs. Since Friday, September 2, the company run by the Bolloré group no longer broadcasts the channels of the TF1 group (TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Série Film, LCI).

In question, the price increase, of 50%, claimed by TF1 for the broadcasting of its channels. “Faced with these unfounded and unreasonable demands for channels which are accessible free of charge for all and which must remain so, the Canal group, a long-time partner of the TF1 Group, is forced to give up broadcasting these channels in metropolitan France”, communicated the encrypted channel.

Fortunately, other solutions remain for Canal subscribers. Those who have a TV box with an Internet provider will not be bothered: TF1 is still broadcast on it. Another possibility is to go through a TNT TV decoder. Finally, the last possible option: go through MYTF1, the group’s website, where you can watch the channels live, but also the replays. MYTF1 is also available as an application on the AppStore and on the PlayStore.

Solutions that may become secondary in a few days: the two groups may well end up agreeing soon.
