Canal has won “all” of the TV broadcasting rights for the European football cups, including the prestigious Champions League, for the period 2024-2027, channel manager Maxime Saada announced on Wednesday June 29. “Very very happy for our subscribers and our teams and very proud to announce that @canalplus has just won the broadcast of the entire @ChampionsLeague of the @EuropaLeague and the @UEFAConference for 2024-2027,” said the president of the Canal group on his Twitter account. The encrypted channel had, with beIN Sports, recovered in 2019 the rights to broadcast C1 for the period 2021-2024.

“Mbappé, Ronaldo, Messi, Benzema, De Bruyne, Lewandowsky, Salah, Mané, Neymar… The greatest players in the world, the most beautiful European clashes and the best French players and clubs: only on Canal”, said rejoiced shortly after the chain in a press release. The amount of the tender has not been disclosed. Canal and BeIn Sports had already recovered in 2019 the main C1 lots for 2021 – 2024. RMC Sport, C1 broadcaster since 2018, also remains co-broadcaster until 2024. The encrypted channel already broadcasts the entire English Premier League until 2024/2025 exclusively.
